DAY ONE

DEPARTURE

We arrived in Doha and were immediately welcomed with a premium experience. Al Maha Lounge provided fast-track immigration and even delivered our luggage directly to us, which set the tone for the trip.

After checking in at the Hilton Doha, we enjoyed a relaxed welcome dinner overlooking the sea. My first impression of Qatar was how polished, warm, and service‑driven everything felt from the moment we landed.

DAY TWO

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF QATAR & SHARQ VILLAGE

Our day began with a guided tour of the National Museum of Qatar, where our guide, Stella, offered fascinating insights into the country’s history and culture.

We then visited Sharq Village by The Ritz-Carlton, which quickly became my favourite hotel thanks to its serene atmosphere and beautiful traditional design. Lunch was excellent.

Afterwards, we toured the Rixos Gulf before heading to Katara Cultural Village, where we wore hijabs and stepped inside a mosque. The day ended with a site visit to the Ritz Carlton Doha and dinner at STK, their stylish steakhouse.

DAY THREE

DUNE BASHING & SOUQ WAQIF

This was our adventure day, starting with dune bashing through the desert and a visit to the stunning Inland Sea, my highlight of the entire trip.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a lively brunch at Trader Vic’s, followed by an evening exploring Souq Waqif. The Souq offered great shopping and atmosphere, and we finished the night with dinner at Parisa, a beautifully decorated Persian restaurant.

DAY FOUR

WALDORF ASTORIA LUSAIL & DHOW CRUISE

We began with a tour of the elegant Waldorf Astoria Lusail, which showcased its luxurious facilities.

The afternoon was spent at Meryal Waterpark, a fun and energetic experience perfect for families.

Later, we enjoyed a peaceful sunset dhow cruise, which was a magical way to see Doha from the water. The evening wrapped up with a site inspection at The Ned and dinner outdoors at Hadika.

DAY FIVE

LAST DAY

On our final day, we were treated to the Al Mourjan Lounge before departure, which offered a very comfortable and premium pre‑flight experience.

To top it all off, I was upgraded to Qatar Airways Business Class for the journey home, a fantastic surprise and the perfect end to an unforgettable trip.
