DAY ONE

DEPARTURE

We all departed from Manchester airport early in the morning and arrived in Tunisia later that morning, met in the arrival hall, and then departed to our first hotel, TUI Magic Life Africana.

We completed a site inspection of this hotel, and we found it great for families because it has multiple pools, waterslides, and daily activities. Once we had completed the site inspection, we had free time to explore, so I got changed for our Complimentary Dinner at a local restaurant provided by Tunisia's tourist board.

I enjoyed this evening, as we had the opportunity to meet the director of the Tunisian tourist board. After the meal, we returned to the hotel for cocktails, a dance, and a sing-along on the karaoke.

DAY TWO

BEACH MORNING

We had a leisurely breakfast before heading to the beach for volleyball, archery, and a banana boat ride. We then ate lunch in the Magico restaurant, which had plenty of choices for adults and children.

After lunch, we headed to the conference room for a TUI presentation. We learnt about all TUI's brands, such as Magic Life, TUI Blue, Suneo, and Robinson.

In the evening, we were transferred to TUI Blue Manar, another family hotel, where we started with a site inspection. This hotel was my favourite family hotel as it has many slides for children of all ages and different pools. It even has a climbing area.

We then all ate dinner at the à la carte restaurant in the TUI Blue Manar, which is stunning as it looks across the beach.

DAY THREE

TUI BLUE SCHEHERAZADE

We had breakfast before our transfer to two hotel inspections. The first hotel we visited was the TUI Suneo Royal Kenz, one of Tui's value hotels. This hotel is gorgeous and great value for money. It has two pools and is a short walk down to the beach, which has a beach bar and private sunbeds for hotel guests.

We then transferred to my favourite hotel this trip, which I look forward to visiting next year on holiday: the Tui Blue Scheherazade. This adult-only property has two pools: the relaxed pool and the main pool, where daytime activities happen. All rooms within this hotel are sea-facing, with the beds looking out onto the beach and garden area.

We then transferred to our second hotel stay in the TUI Blue Palm Beach, we did a site inspection of this hotel and then had free time to enjoy the facilities. The TUI Palm Beach is great for those customers who want to relax and enjoy a quiet holiday; this hotel has a private beach and an infinity pool overlooking the beach. In the evening, we ate food in the main restaurant, which has plenty of variety and then enjoyed the entertainment, which included an African Latin dance show followed by live music.

DAY FOUR

SIDI BOU SAID

Breakfast at Leisure, we all had the opportunity to go on a TUI experience.

We visited Tunis, the picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said, and the site of Carthage. It was a fantastic experience! The village is known as the Santorini of Tunisia! I thought I was in Greece. All the buildings are painted white and blue, and every corner you turn down is breathtaking, with some amazing views of the sea and the island.

We then returned to Palm Beach and ate lunch in the main restaurant. We finished our trip with an à la carte dinner and an early night, the perfect way to spend the last night.

WHO WOULD THIS TYPE OF TRIP BE SUITED TO?

Tunisia would be well-suited to customers who want a chilled-out holiday with golden beaches and great-value-for-money hotels.

FAVOURITE HOTEL VISITED?

TUI BLUE Scheherazade was by far my favourite hotel. It was adults-only and had a tui-style highlight, making it stand out from the other hotels we visited. It was also more modern and fresher.

BEST EXPERIENCE FROM THE TRIP?

The best experience of the Fam trip was getting to explore multiple hotels within the destination, making me ready to give first hand experience and advice for my customers.
